Rainy-Day Creativity: Projects Beyond the Page
Once you have a coloring page or a character render, extend the afternoon with low-prep activities that reuse what you already made.
Stuck inside? Pair screen time with hands-on play—start on Coloring.at, then unplug with these ideas.
Story dice
Print two small versions of a character, cut them out, and tape them to wooden blocks or cardboard squares. Roll the “dice” and invent a two-sentence story based on which face lands up.
Gallery walk
Hang three prints at kid height in the hallway. Give each a silly title on a sticky note and let visitors (even stuffed animals) vote for their favorite.
Coloring relay
One person colors only the background, the next only the character, the next adds patterns. Pass the page every three minutes—great for siblings or playdates.
